CLAN DENNY is a range of independantly bottled Scotch wiskies from Douglas McGibbon & Co., selecting fine casks from distilleries across Scotland. The range features limited single cask bottlings of single malt and single grain whiskies typically non-chill filtered and without addes colouring. This JURA is One of 285 bottles distilled in June 2009 and bottled in March 2022 that matured 12 years in a refill hogshead. Tasting notes: The nose reveals a moreish, sweet, brown sugar and butterscotch style. The palate reflects the nose but with more depth - anticipate buttered brown bread with thick, creamy honey and toasted oak.
