CLAN DENNY is a range of independantly bottled Scotch wiskies from Douglas McGibbon & Co., selecting fine casks from distilleries across Scotland. The range features limited single cask bottlings of single malt and single grain whiskies typically non-chill filtered and without addes colouring. This GLENGOYNE is One of 339 bottles distilled in June 2007 and bottled in June 2022 that matured 15 years in a refill hogshead. Tasting notes: Detect cinnamon and green apple on the nose alongside clove-studded oranges. The palate bursts with pineapple in syrup followed by wood shavings, honeycomb and a polished oak character. The finish shows candied nuts with a candy sweetness - and strawberries dusted with sugar.
